Community Activists: Judy Strong

As part of the research process, we have been interviewing local community activists from across Midlothian.    These will continue until the end of the project in and the recordings, films and transcripts will be placed in the new Dalkeith Museum for use by schools, community groups and members of the public.

Judy Strong is a member of Girlguiding Midlothian and  has been the Vogrie Brownie House* Committee Chairman since  1997 (*a residential   holiday experience for Brownies and Guides from Midlothian and further afield).    Judy was the Brown Owl of 2nd Lasswade Brownies for 20 years from 1983 to 2003 and   Division Commissioner for Central Midlothian from 1979 to 1982.”
